The Recology Recovered Resource bloggers enjoy your questions and welcome your comments.  To ensure that your comments are posted and contribute to the discussion on resource recovery, landfill diversion, compost and recycling, we have formalized our comments policy.

Comments Moderation

To maintain the integritiy of this blog, all comments will be moderated. Commenters that include self-promotional links that are irrelevant to the focus of this blog will be removed.

Comments that contain irrelevant information, rants, insulting and otherwise inappropriate language are not permitted, including spam.

Tone and Comment Length

The purpose of our blog is to further the discussion on resource recovery, scarcity, climate change, and the dynamics of the industry. We are pleased to have a wide and varied audience, and welcome ideas, suggestions and feedback that furthers the discussion. Out of respect for our readers, threatening or harsh language, and profanity will not be tolerated.

There is no maximum comment length.

Signatures In Comments

If you decide to add your signature to a comment, please keep it short (2 line maximum) and do not include a link to your website, unless it is directly related to the post you are commenting on, and your email address matches the domain name of your website. Please use your real name, as no comments submitted by titles (such as “admin”) will be posted.

I also love reading the comments, but it seems as being a great deal of readers have to stay on topic to try and add some thing for the original topic.   3. Recology – I visited the blog looking for more information on waste profiles in cities that you service. I see SF had 77% diversion in 2008. Could someone direct me to literature on the percentage of compost/recyclables/unavoidable waste coming from cities? Does Recology publish figures on the makeup of the garbage it collects? This is for a school project. Thank you
